Ryan Perez was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was raised half of his life in North Carolina and the other half in the state of Hawaii. He currently resides on the beautiful island of Oahu. Ryan’s first passion growing up was the game of golf. He earned some of the highest amateur golf titles in the state of Hawaii including his most prized title of Hawaii’s #1 Amateur Golfer in 2009. Ryan also earned a full-ride golf scholarship to the University of Hawaii at Manoa. After pursuing golf professionally for a couple of years, Ryan turned to helping out a buddy with his surf company for a two years. During this time, he started playing live gigs and the music seed was planted. Ryan then joined the United States Coast Guard and served for 8 years. During his active duty military tenure, he would book gigs in the different places he lived. Performance was becoming an addiction and he knew that he wanted to start pursuing music as much as he could. Fast forwarding to the present moment, Ryan is in school full-time for Audio Engineering, Songwriting, and Music Business. He is operating through two different schools: Berklee College of Music Online and Honolulu Community College’s MELE program. After Ryan is complete with school, he will be earning a Bachelor’s in Professional Studies in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Ryan’s music is mainly reggae but he dabbles in other genres as well. The main goal he sets for his music is that it’s conscious and has a positive healing message & energy. Passion is where he operates from, in regard to career choices. He never settles for anything less than his dreams. Music is Ryan’s ultimate passion in life and he will be serving music for the rest of his living days.
