SOULGASM 19th Anniversary Celebration

Step into the big room at HB Social Club as Soulgasm, Hawaiʻi’s longest running soulful house music and dance gathering, makes a special return to Crossroads for its 19th Anniversary Celebration and final nighttime gathering of 2026.

Since 2007, Soulgasm has nurtured soulful dance culture in Honolulu, bringing people together across generations through house music, dance and art. Rooted in Hawaiʻi and known in the wider house community, Soulgasm has welcomed artists, dancers and music lovers from around the world to share in the warmth, connection and joy of its dance floor. Held with aloha, it’s a place to come as you are and move freely.

TAKAYA NAGASE • NEW YORK

DJ and producer Takaya Nagase returns to Honolulu from New York to headline the celebration. Those who’ve heard him play at Soulgasm have praised his musical depth, thoughtful selections, care for sound and the masterful way he carries the dance floor through a musical journey to the very end.

Born in Japan and based in New York, Takaya was part of JOY, a party created with friends from The Loft community. He plays in New York and internationally and shares soulful and spiritual music from around the world on his monthly show World Galaxy on The Lot Radio.

SOULGASM ʻOHANA

Soulgasm’s longtime local ʻohana come together for the anniversary, with DJs Matt Kee and Globes playing back to back and accomplished drummer Jerome James returning on live percussion.

THE MIGHTY GIANTS • LOS ANGELES

Flying in from Los Angeles, The Mighty Giants take the stage for a special live puppet appearance. Created by longtime Soulgasm ʻohana Woes Martin, the crew draws inspiration from hip hop and celebrates DJ culture, music, art and community. Woes Martin, Jayski One and Ritchie open the night behind the decks.

Soulgasm invites everyone across Hawaiʻi and beyond to celebrate nineteen years together. Whether you’ve part of the journey since the early years, joined recently or are coming for the first time, there’s space for everyone on the Soulgasm dance floor. Come as you are and move freely in the big room, with great sound and a wide open floor.

For the love of music and movement.
Held with aloha.
